40 km from Boží Dar, direction Karlovy Vary – SokolovLoket is a medieval town located near the famous west Bohemian spa. The dominant of the town forms a gothic castle from the third quarter of the 12th century. The historical centre was declared a conservation area. Its medieval character is formed in particular by historical houses on the town square and the castle, as well as the preserved fortification system. Other remarkable sights in Loket are the Town Hall, the Church of St. Wenceslas, the Chapel of St. Anna, the Column of the Holy Trinity and the Chapel of St. Mary.
